Kelliher Economics Foundation National Economics Award

In association with The Kelliher Charitable Trust, the Foundation is again pleased to offer a National Economics Award for the 2010 year for up to three secondary school students to complete university or tertiary studies in Economics. The award will cover a period of up to three years, with $4,000.00 per annum being paid directly to the institution of the attending student's choice (maximum $12,000.00 for the three year period). The Award is to be applied to Tertiary Course Fees only and is paid directly to the tertiary institute. In addition a one off grant will be available for purchase of text books or a laptop. Details will be provided to successful applicants.

The mission of the Kelliher Economics Foundation is “To extend the knowledge of young New Zealanders in the importance of the economics of money and banking”

QUALIFYING CRITERIA
The Foundation will focus on those applications which comply with its objectives. Students with a proven ability in economics, and who wish to pursue a career in economics should apply.
