Scholarships of up to $5,000 are available to New Zealand children (under 18) who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged to help them achieve their long term life or career goals*
Funds may be used for travel, accommodation, tuition, equipment, personal development, coaching or other associated participation or training costs

QUALIFYING CRITERIA
Variety General Grants provide assistance to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children with their day to day requirements.
The Variety Gold Heart Scholarship Fund specifically relates to long term aspirations, career or life goals.
Applications open from 1 February to 31March 2010. Applications need to be at the Variety office by 5pm on Wednesday 31 March 2010. The scholarship funding period will begin on 1 July 2010.
