Institute of Electrolysis & Beauty Therapy Ltd - Pacific Island Scholarship

This year the NZIE&BT is offering a Pacific Island student the opportunity of assistance with study here at the Institute.
This is in response to a recognizable Government initiative to increase the learning opportunities for Pacific Island.

The Beauty Therapy & Electrolysis is a full time course with intakes in January and July and completion following international exams in December (for January intake) and June the following year (for July intakes). The subjects include:

Anatomy and Physiology
Cosmetic Chemistry
Electricity and Dermatology
Nutrition & Diet
ExerciseBeauty Therapy
Aromatherapy
Skin Care productsVisiting Lecturers
Reflexology
Body Spa Treatments.

The Beautician Course is a 6 month, 3 days a week course with intakes in January and July each year completing with International exams in June & December respectively. The subjects include:

Anatomy & PhysiologyCosmetic ChemistryElectricityDermatology
Practical Treatments

A Swedish Massage course is run as an addition to this course for 20 weeks.

Age 18years or over.
Year 12 Secondary Education
NZCA Level 2 in General Science, Human Biology, Biology, Physics
NZCA Level 2 English
At least one Pacific Island Ethnic group on the enrolment form.

MONETARY VALUE
$4000 for Beauty Therapy Course or $2500 for Beautician Course
